OUR CONNECTION TO MID
VELMÉA draws on the diamond expertise of MID House of Diamonds. With a background in diamond manufacturing and supply, MID works with white and natural fancy color diamonds through an international network that includes Tokyo.
That breadth gives us room to explore stones around your preferences. At VELMÉA, we consider color, shape, light and the relationship between stone and design, then explain why a particular direction may suit you.
For an individual stone, we review the relevant grading report and specifications, explaining information such as natural or laboratory-grown origin, the origin of color and any disclosed treatments.
WHAT MAKES IT YOURS
Even with the same kind of stone or ring shape, the balance that feels right is personal. Alongside measurements and photographs, we pay attention to how you respond.
Subtle color, a stone’s outline and the way it looks against the skin all influence a choice. We consider its character alongside your taste and the occasions when you will wear it, taking time to look beyond size and grade.

Alongside the diamond’s four Cs, VELMÉA values Communication. Our fifth C is the care we take to understand your preferences and explain the choices clearly. It is a principle of our private service, distinct from a stone’s technical grading.
You are welcome to begin with an idea you cannot yet put into words. A reference photograph or a piece you often wear can help us find its shape together.
